Hi! I´m Julia!
I draw still lives, city scenes and landscapes in pastel for people who live overwhelming, fast-paced lives, so they can feel connected to the calm and receptive part of themselves again.
I was born in Ukraine in 1987 and live and work in Dresden, Germany since 2015. I studied cultural management in The University of Amsterdam and domestic design in the School of Form in Poland.
My multiple studies and vast interests, as well as commercial design practice, constitute a rich background I build upon in my artistic projects. I am most interested in the connection of body and mind and tactility in art.
I strive to reach the most vulnerable, sensitive parts of people who can see the beauty and power of life in my works. Hopefully:) I believe in the healing power and importance of art for the soul. And I am excited to be in the creative process and loose sense of time in it, giving myself away to the flow and letting the artworks emerge layer by layer.
