Summer essence

Capturing the essence of summer with bright blue cornflowers in a copper pot. This was inspired by a photo of a Ukrainian natural cosmetics maker from Odessa. I love the combination of copper and blue here. Metallic oil pastels shimmer and light up depending on the angle of view and lighting conditions, which gives the artwork more depth and dimension.
