Like Matisse

An artwork started as an experiment - how fast and how far could I go, having 20 minutes till sunset, plus about the same until it gets dark. I didn't manage to finish it in one set, but it still holds this energy and drive, slightly imperfect, full of character.

This piece was create as an exploration and tribute to Matisse's approach to colors - deep blues, warm reds, sharp greens. And it holds that Mediterranean energy — a bit wild, a bit sunburnt, very alive.
