5 days you are here

This sunlit bouquet is an artwork of love that brought me my first art award - an “honorable mention” in the running Dust off online show by PGE in 2024. It is dedicated to the birth of my second daughter 3.5 years ago and the moment where I knew that life would never be the same, but also had no clear vision of what’s ahead.

I don’t remember receiving the flowers and who gifted them when I was at home with my newborn, but I remember the moment of sun hitting the vase and the contrast of the bright light that struck me with its beauty. It was exactly 5 days after Mirabel's birth, hence the name: “5 days you are here”.

The print is signed on the back and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
